Diane’s desire to improve our food industry through humane, transparent, and regenerative practices inspired her to transform her family’s third-generation, conventional agriculture business into one of the nation’s most respected and successful social enterprises. About Chandlar
When Chandlar was diagnosed with a genetic detoxification disorder and prescribed lifestyle changes to facilitate detoxification, Dr. Aruna (now Chief Medical Officer at Hemptress®) mandated a complete purge of all cosmetics that contained non-natural ingredients.
Chandlar quickly discovered that her favorite skincare products were filled with ingredients that were severely harming her physical and mental health. Surprisingly, even products flaunting the label 'clean' were often filled with petrochemicals, synthetic preservatives, carcinogens, and various known toxins.
As Chandlar curates her lifestyle to support positive gene expression and consequently, good health, she is concerned about the magnitude of toxins plaguing our bodies and societies—toxins that lay the blueprint for a lifetime of chronic disease. Strauss is on a mission to transform how we care for our health and wellness by including the products we apply to our skin.
